About This App

PhoneHub is a mobile reference app for browsing smartphone specifications, comparing two phones side-by-side, and deep-linking to retailer search pages (Amazon, AliExpress, and others) when you want to buy.

Data We Collect (Server-Side)

We do not collect or store any personal data on our servers. The app does not require an account, sign-in, or any personal information to use.

The only third-party service that may collect anonymized data is Google AdMob, which we use to display ads:

• Advertising Data (Google AdMob) — AdMob may collect data per Google's Privacy Policy:
  • Advertising ID (device identifier for ad personalization)
  • Approximate location (IP-based, for regional ad targeting)
  • Device information (model, OS version, screen size)
  • Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

We do NOT collect:

• Your name, email address, or phone number
• Precise GPS location
• Contacts, photos, or files
• Browsing history, search queries, or phone-detail-view history
• Any analytics on how you use the app

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is stored only on your device and never sent to our servers:

• Favorites — phones you mark with the star icon
• Language preference — your chosen app language
• App settings — theme, display, and other preferences
• Cache — phone images and spec data temporarily stored for faster loading

Phone Catalog Data

The phone specifications shown in the app are publicly available manufacturer data aggregated from public sources. Phone images are stored on our servers and delivered to you over HTTPS — we do not track which phones you view.

Retailer Deep Links

When you tap “View on Amazon”, “View on AliExpress”, or any other retailer button, you are redirected to that retailer's website in your external browser. Once you leave the app, the retailer's own privacy policy applies. We do not track which retailer buttons you tap or whether you complete a purchase.

Advertising

This app displays advertisements through Google AdMob. Google's advertising SDK may collect anonymized data to serve relevant ads. You can control ad personalization through your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads). See Google's Privacy Policy.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share any data with third parties. The only third-party service involved is Google AdMob, as described above.

Trademarks & Intellectual Property

Brand names, logos and trademarks shown in PhoneHub are the property of their respective owners. PhoneHub is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any manufacturer. Phone specifications are aggregated from publicly available sources.

Data Security

All content delivery is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.

Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
